Instructions for shipping your timepiece
While getting ready to send off your package, remember that your watch or clock is delicate, and you should pack it accordingly.
We don’t need anything non-essential: keys, removable decorative pieces, weights, or pendulums for grandfather clocks.
We need: pendulums for every mantle and wall clock.
We suggest that your item is packed professionally by a UPS store. If that’s not possible, make sure to pack your watch or clock in a compressed manner surrounded by bubble wrap, with an inner box inside bigger package filled with foam peanut shells or more bubble wrap to make sure that the timepiece stays secure.
Make sure to include information about the ways to contact you on a small slip inside of your package. The information we need included is your first and last name, phone number(s), address, personal email and an explanation of the problem at hand.
It is important that shipments are fully insured with the value of replacement and sent to this address by USPS, UPS, or FEDEX:
Village Watch Center
233 Washington Street
Brookline, MA 02445
Immediately after we receive and look over your package, we will email or call you with an estimated price of repair. If you wish to proceed, we will ask that you make a deposit through a credit card to authorize this process.
As soon as we finish the work, we will charge you the other part of the sum, and the cost of shipping the item back to you.
If you decide to not proceed with the repair, we will need a payment for the return shipping within a month of our item evaluation.
